The Korean Ministry of Education carried out an assessment of teachers, rate of retention, employment rate and management satisfaction and Woosuk university performed well. The university received the highest level of evaluation‘A’across the stated criteria.
The Department of Physical Education specializes in and fosters athletic direction. It teaches students to cultivate practical ability to create a harmonious mind and body, which is wholly necessary to develop primary physical education. The department aims to develop athletics through empirical and holistic research.
The Department of Taekwondo is grounded in research and cultural value. The department cultivates the excellence of Taekwondo and seeks to spread the breadth of the practice. The Department of Taekwondo in conjunction with other departments has been selected as ‘a local university specialization project’a nd as a‘Department of Superior Regional Specialization.’
The Department of Leisure Sports Studies fosters professionalism in its students and seeks to develop a ‘sports leader’. Students take a variety of course in welfare, rehabilitation exercises, body design, and sport industry. The department operates a variety of advanced training programs.
