The Department of Pharmacy has a profound respect for life and a spirit of service. As its guiding philosophy, the department seeks to bolster the workforce with well-trained pharmacists.
Since becoming an independent department in 2011 the department has been strengthened over the past several years, contributing to public health by expanding its clinical pharmacy practice to fight diseases that have developed over the past six years.

The Department of Oriental Pharmacy is grounded in research and professional principles. The department seeks to impart knowledge of the han-yakhak tradition and encourages students to further develop the practice. Students contribute to the prevention and treatment of diseases through scientific research efforts as well as modernization of traditional Korean medicine.
